Eszter Czibor founded EC Insights to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and practical policy implementation. An economist and innovation policy specialist based in Reykjavík, she brings over a decade of international experience translating complex data into actionable strategic insights.

She has evaluated high-impact initiatives from multimillion dollar innovation challenges to programmes across 27 European innovation agencies, and has supported strategic decision making within organizations including UNDP, UNEP, World Bank, British Council, and FCDO. Previously Head of Research at StateUp and Principal Researcher at the Innovation Growth Lab, Eszter combines PhD-level economic training from the University of Amsterdam and the University of Chicago with hands-on policy experience.
